Woohoo!! The BC Lions have made it all the way to victory! Versing the Montreal Alouettes, they won 25-14.
I’m not too interested in football, but everyone seemed to be talking about the Grey Cup and how BC’s going there and everything, so I watched bits and pieces of this last game. I don’t really know who’s who and what’s what, but I understood enough to know what was going on.
I got caught up watching the last 2 minutes which really took like half an hour. The words “2 minutes” are very deceiving in football. You’d (well, “rookie watchers”) think it takes you an actual 2 minutes to finish watching it, when in reality, there’s a whistle every 5 seconds.
Everyone was already cheering and sobbing for joy at 24 seconds left, and they just let the timer keep going while everyone was hugging and dancing around. No point in continued play.
The Lions actually only got 1 touchdown, and we got the rest of the points from 6 field goals. Interesting, isn’t it?
Near the end, the Alouettes missed the ball twice when going for a touchdown. They could’ve actually nearly tied it.
But it’s okay, because BC won.
:D:P
Just an update on my Christmas tree. I got a lot of decorations from Ikea but they’re still in the process of being strung. I’m re-using some of the nicer old ones as well. It looks pretty nice. I’d say it’s about halfway done.
Now, the tree looks smaller. Haha. Probably cause before when I first got it, it looked really huge but now I’m not used to it.
I’m also in the process of doing major clean up around the house. That means loads of Ikea boxes: big, medium, and small. The house is like a mess right now but it should be mostly cleaned up by Monday. Well, the things in my room. I’ll definitely have to get more boxes like, next week or something.
Aiiyyaaa… I have so many projects and tests.

ACTUAL Homework:
Can you believe it?? No actual homework; all projects, quizzes, and tests. Aiyaaa.
I’d better get going on some of this, before I have to start cramming like crazy.
I know it’s not nearly Christmas yet, but I was too excited about Christmas to wait until December to put up a tree. So, yesterday, I went shopping for a Christmas tree. I went to Metrotown’s The Bay, Sears, and Zellers, but all of the trees were either too big, too small, or too expensive.
After a couple hours worth of searching, we went to Costco and I saw a 7.5′ tree that’s nice and fat and looks pretty real (for a fake tree). And the tree was pretty cheap too. Less than $100. The tree wasn’t pre-lit though, but that’s okay cause then I got some multi-colored lights there too (4 boxes) and they fit perfectly around the tree.
I got decorations today at Superstore; these red & gold and silver balls to hang on the tree. You have to put the string to hang them yourself though. The tree’s looking pretty nice so far.
