About Me

Hi there!

You either know me or you don’t. Chances are, you don’t, so let’s get you clued in. As the website suggests, my name is in fact Ashley Chow, and I am a Tourism Marketing Management student at BCIT. Along with that, I am also the VP of Integrated Marketing for the BCIT Marketing Association, a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, and having the tourism fetish that I do, I’ve come to get to know and explore this city and its surroundings pretty well. Volunteering for the Vancouver Aquarium has its perks as well. I especially love it when I see tourists around the city in the summer, cameras and maps in hand, looking to get to their next destination. It makes me proud to live in a city that people want to travel to.

This blog used to be about me and my love for photography, but I’ve found that lately, I’ve let that slip. I used to love capturing every splendid moment on camera, freezing it in time to look back on later–don’t get me wrong, I still like that, but now, it’s also about enjoying each moment as it comes and storing memories where they belong. I know I don’t blog nearly as much as I “should”–whatever “should” is–but when the time comes and I feel like going at it again, then that’s what I’ll do.

In the meantime, take a look at previous posts and photos, and follow my tweets on Twitter.
