So, I woke up @ 6 in the morning, freshened up, and was out the door by 7:20am. I arrived at Metrotown a bit after 7:30am. The mall was dark because it still looked like nighttime, but there were already people walking around and waiting outside stores like TNA, Artizia, and Lululemon. I strolled around until 8am, which is when all the stores open up. But it sure didn’t look like that while I was there. A lot of stores had their doors closed while the slower desperate shoppers were forced to wait while the faster desperate shoppers were inside picking their sizes, styles, & colors and fishing out their gift and credit cards.

The mall wasn’t that packed in the morning, but with each hour, there were 1000 more people jammed in the mall. I went to the car to drop off bags twice and both times, there were cars with their hazard signs on, waiting endlessly for someone to leave so they could park and race in and shop with everyone else. I felt bad for telling the drivers, “Sorry, I’m not leaving!” but what’re you gonna do? You don’t care. You wanna shop!

I ate my lunch at 10:30am, and the food court–mind you, it’s huge–was already half full. By the time 12pm rolled around, there was hardly enough room for breathing space. Every little square inch of the mall was covered, and people were still waiting in forever long lineups.

I also got a new phone today, and I absolutely love it. While walking around the mall, I decided to take some pictures, so I whipped out my brand new phone and snapped a couple shots. Obviously, 1.3 megs hardly compares to an 8 meg camera, but it’s clear enough for a cell phone. I uploaded the pictures onto my computer, so here they are.

On the very top level, to the left, the crowds are for Aritzia. To the right of that, the crowds are for Lululemon. That was how long the lineups were. It even stretched all the way around the Grand Court, which is pretty darn big. Aren’t these people just nuts?

Sure, I went Boxing Day shopping, but I wasn’t crazy enough to stand in line for hours on end waiting to get into stores that probably didn’t have my size left!

Later on in the day, I went to Ikea. Took some more pictures.

Btw, the snow is basically all gone now. White Christmas? We’ll see.

The people volunteering from 10am-2pm and 2pm-6pm were all from Odyssey. We were yakking about the Christmas party we’re having on the 15th (more about that another day) and it was fun.

My friend and I went to The Face Shop and then I used a nail polish sample to paint my nails. AHAH The lady that works there was looking at us but then she didn’t say anything. The polish color was like browny, and when I was done, she said it was a nice color on me cause it looks natural. I think it looks nice too. Haven’t put on nail polish in sooooo long. It’s nice. Haha.

I got to ride a new bus today going home again. It’s really nice. Smells new, but there’s already some graffiti on the back of some of the chairs. Tsk tsk. I think they put out like 50 more buses like a month ago or something like that. There’s a lot more on the road now. Before, a couple of months ago, I only saw like 1. I’ve ridden on the one with the 2 wires before, like the new one, and I’ve ridden on 2 of the new ones without the wires.

Well, that’s about it right now.

My snow’s kinda melting, and it’s starting to slide off my roof, but it’s still pretty thick. My lawn snow is still nice and untouched. Before it all melts away, I think I’m gonna go enjoy it and make a pretty snow angel.

I took like a gazillion pictures of the snow, which I think I’ll post up another day. One day at school I was playing around in the snow with my friend. The snow was sooo thick and I wasn’t wearing boots or anything so it got my pants and socks wet hehe. So fun though cause a lot of the snow was untouched so we just walked right through it.

I liked the first day it snowed cause it snowed for like a day straight (I think). And so nice when it’s just fallen and everything’s white. Now it’s all gross and brown and slushy and icy.

But it’s fun while it lasts. Must take advantage of it before it all melts away and everything has color again.

Now, the tree looks smaller. Haha. Probably cause before when I first got it, it looked really huge but now I’m not used to it.

I’m also in the process of doing major clean up around the house. That means loads of Ikea boxes: big, medium, and small. The house is like a mess right now but it should be mostly cleaned up by Monday. Well, the things in my room. I’ll definitely have to get more boxes like, next week or something.

After a couple hours worth of searching, we went to Costco and I saw a 7.5′ tree that’s nice and fat and looks pretty real (for a fake tree). And the tree was pretty cheap too. Less than $100. The tree wasn’t pre-lit though, but that’s okay cause then I got some multi-colored lights there too (4 boxes) and they fit perfectly around the tree.

I got decorations today at Superstore; these red & gold and silver balls to hang on the tree. You have to put the string to hang them yourself though. The tree’s looking pretty nice so far.

I didn’t go Boxing Day shopping today. I’m going to Metrotown tomorrow with my friend. I want the Talula vest. Hopefully it’s in the 2-digit now. I finally did my Current Events. Got that over with. =]

La la la la la. Well, nothing much to write about now. I watched Christmas with the Kranks. It was pretty good, I guess.

Hehe. Okay. Gonna do some other stuff now.
