Well, Concept Cars, transportation is pretty much the same. It's just much slower.

As far as cars go, the side streets were probably the worst simply because the snow was so thick and cars are only so high. That resulted in people having to push their cars. I've had my fair share of being stuck in the snow (yes I drive and I drove in the snow) and also helping other cars get out of it.

Big roads should be plowed so that doesn't create too much of a situation. It's usually just the first day of snow that everything's extra slow.

Transit is a whole other issue. Usually, when the first day of snowfall hits, everything's total chaos. People are lined up as bus stops for ages with buses that don't show up for hours and traffic is backed up to death.

Everything still moves along, but just at a snail pace.

Substantial snowfall can disrupt public infrastructure and services, slowing human activity even in regions that are accustomed to such weather. But still, its feel of superb..Concept Cars

Concept Cars,

Thanks! Yeah it's nice when there's snow when there's "supposed" to be snow. Not in say, March, which has happened here in Vancouver unfortunately.

Yeah. Usually when the news talks about all of this insane crazy snowfall or whatever and floods and stuff in Vancouver, it's usually the interior they're talking about.

Yeah, from what I've heard Vancouver is supposed to be really rainy.

Just watched the news here and Toronto has mini-floods all over the place. It's fine where I'm living though.

Oh yuck. It's been pretty dry here for a while. Supposedly 30% chance of showers on Saturday but I hope not.

Vancouver's supposed to be known for the rainy weather but for some reason I don't find it all that soggy... just once in a while, but not as much as people claim it to be.
